Will online display advertising overtake TV advertising?

I've said it before, the display online advertising industry is still growing - search is an incredible marketing and lead generation tool, but nothing can better project your brand online than rich media display ads (often expandable and page takeover banner advertising).

Today my sources are DoubleClick, Forrester Research and of course the ever present Google but this blog post was inspired by Business 2 Community's article about internet marketing taking marketing...

Good advertising = the right people in the right context at the right frequency

Regular readers of my blog will notice that I reference ComScore a lot - I love the data they provide and I believe them to be one of the brightest and most insightful online resources available. ComScore have just acquired a company called AdXpose and while this won't interest many of you, their recent blog post announcing this acquisition and the reason for it, providing effective online advertising measurement, reminded me of the age old advertising formula.

She was concerned that she was being charged $800 a month for her Google Adwords campaign because her internet marketing consultant had advised her that they needed to build the keyword list as much as possible, with words like "bird" so that when a search user types in "bird" her jewellery shop would show...

Mobile, Smartphones, Apple, Android – Mobile Mania

So of course I am adding to this clutter of information with my post this morning but I hope to distill down some of the information into easy-to-consume pieces of information and provide you with a list of recommended reading. What a helpful teacher I am :)As I was browsing through 500+ new stories that have been gratefully placed into my RSS news reader overnight it was difficult not to notice a prolific amount of information about the rise of Android as the dominant smartphone operating system (OS).

The last time I reported on Android...
